Quartzite.

Quartzite is known for its glassy luster and grainy appearance as well as for being exceptionally hard.

Quartzite is a natural stone that is formed when quartz-rich sandstone is altered by heat & pressure during metamorphism. Quartzite, composed predominantly of silica (quartz sand), has the strongest hardness compared to all other natural stone countertop options available.

"Quartzite's natural beauty and glassy luster is a hit in any room."

Not to be confused with Quartz, Quartzite is a naturally occurring stone, where Quartz is a man-made engineered stone product.

Quartzite is typically white or light in color. During metamorphism (how Quartzite is created within the Earth), if other minerals are present, some Quartzites can have shade ranges in a variety of colors adding to it uniqueness.

Quartzite is naturally resistant to UV rays, making it an excellent choice for both indoor and outdoor countertops that may or may not receive a lot direct sunlight.
